  • Acer are releasing their eagerly anticipated 21" curved screen Predator gaming laptop this quarter which will be priced at $9000. It comes with an i7-7820HK processor, a Radeon GTX 1080 graphics card and is the world's first curved screen laptop.

 

 

  • nVidia have launched their new GeForce GTX 1050 and 1050Ti for laptops.

 

 

 

INDUSTRY NEWS

 

 

  • Android has been named as the most security vulnerable product of 2016 with Oracle the vendor with the most security bugs. These are statistics based on the number of vulnerabilities reported by security researchers in the past year, bugs which have received a CVE identifier.

  • Unsuprisingly Samsung have confirmed that batteries were the source of Galaxy Note 7 fires and not a hardware or software fault.
